Our Snowman

Once upon a Tuesday before Christmas, it was snowing at our house.
Rylee wanted to get bundled up and go help daddy shovel the driveway.
I decided to get Cailyn bundled up too so we could have a family snow party.
Here is Cailyn all bundled up before we headed out.
Outside, Rylee didn't waste any time - she immediately began eating the snow.
Our next door neighbor, Emma, came out to join the fun.

Daddy finished shoveling and began rolling a snowman.
The girls were a big help.
The snowman wound up having a Cailyn-sized bottom.
Cailyn and Mo played together,
while Emma showed Rylee how to make snow angels.
(Rylee didn't completely get the concept - she kept walking through the snow angels - but she had fun anyway.)

Emma and Rylee were pro-snow-eaters.

Cailyn gave it a try...
...but didn't like it as well as the older girls.
Emma and Rylee explored all over
and decided that all snow was meant for the belly. This is my attempt at getting Cailyn to stand with the big girls. She face-planted in the snow about 0.6 seconds after I snapped this picture.
While Daddy was finishing up the snowman, we went to find sticks to use as arms. After we found them, the girls took a rest.
Sister snuggles!
Rylee put the carrot nose in (We only had baby carrots; when Grandma Mac got here the next day, she said it looked like our snowman had a Clawson nose!)
And here he is all finished!
I think he's been sleeping well; we've all been staying warm inside ever since!
